Otromen 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2006 ada sapa2 baca kosmo ahad lepas, cover depan dier pasal penjualan anime lucah di plaza low yat dan imbi kat kl tu...... dalam report tu, perkataan 'anime' digunakan sebagai merujuk kepada kartun2 lucah terbabit.... mungkin reporter tu mmg bukan kaki katun dan anime jadi dgn tu dier mmg x tahu langsung istilah 'hentai' yg digunakan utk merujuk kpd anime2 lucah....sapa2 yg miss berita tu boleh pergi ke hompej ni.... http://www.jeffooi.com/archives/2006/01/anime_the_dumb.phpdgn berita ni, nama 'anime' akan dikaitkan dgn bahan lucah, para ibubapa dimalaysia mungkin tidak akan memberi anak2 mereka menonton anime2 ditv sbb 'anime' adalah animasi lucah yg tak senonoh....peminat2 anime di kalangan remaja dan dewasa yg selama ni diketawakan rakan2 disekeliling sebab dianggap kebudak2kan dan x matang akan dicop sebagai gila seks..... dan ditakuti.sepatutnya reporter tu guna saja istilah animasi/kartun lucah utk merujuk kpd katun2 blue tu..... ni guna istilah yg salah plak.....jd selama ni tv3 promote animasi lucahlah kat channel diorang yerr, dgn slogan 'eyes on anime' diorang? Off topik skit.... sebabnya aku pernah tgk satu kedai DVD cetak rompak di pulau pinang kena ambush dalam 999 kat TV3... pastu dlm beberapa bulan aku balik ke penang aku tgk kedai tu masih beroperasi.. bukan nak condemn atau mempersoalkan mana-mana pihak.. cuma nyatakan apa yang nampak di depan mata je.kalo letak hentai kat front page tuh lagi bahaye jadiknye,abis budak hingusan googling nanti,thx to the reporter even silap dia tapi still tak terbongkar istilah mende alah tu kat mata umum khusus makbapak....am I right?←Right!! Clearly it is one mistake - calling animation with sex anime.TO be fair - here is how the story progressed for Kosmo!It was a three day frontpage series.First day (Sunday) - the 'expose' about hentai DVD/games being sold at imbi and low yat.Second day (Monday) - they got the mayor of KL to say they would crackdown on shops selling such thingsThird day (Tuesday) - Report on a successful raid by the domestic trade and consumer affairs ministry on shops in the 2 plazas.On Sunday and Monday they kept calling animation with sex - anime. And this in itself gives the uninitiated the completely wrong idea. I wonder if the mayor or the government knows the difference?The report on Tuesday however was completely different - it did not use the word anime to describe animation with sex. In fact, it is the first time the word hentai is used to describe it.So some questions to be answered:1. When the raid took place, was anime (that you and i are familiar with), also taken? Or was it only the hentai type? That I will try to find out tomorrow.2. If this raid sets the precedent, will other genuine shops like Animetech, etc be raided because of the wrong understanding that all anime is animation with sex?You ponder.I spoke to the writer on Sunday itself. And we ended up arguing for about 5 minutes. He refused to understand my point, and he also claimed he knew the real word was Hentai but decided to use the word anime because he said, "anime is hentai".
