Chipher 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2004 Wahh..ha..ha GC favorite???.I love this topic.For me, honestly i love to use the Nvidia brand GC but the highest end one card (if i can) like 6800 series (not like FX 5200 or GF 4 series).The Nvidia driver (forceware) is much more stabilized for me.My friend have bought an Asus FX5700 last time...and much more happy when play the IGI 2 game.After that, i buy the POWERCOLOR Ati radeon 9600 Pro (coz i don't want the same brand chipset with my friend..he..he..beside that to compare the performance between these card).Actually, I want to try the Ati card 1st time...coz before this i use the nvidia brand..(generation 2 series)..why i buy this???...coz that time generation 2 series is popular.When i install the latest CATALYST driver...and play the game (IGI 2)...it always crashing 2 desktop.This also happen with Hitman silent contract assasin game.But, not like Need 4 Speed Underground....the game run fine (i'm satisfied with the color quality and the car details).From this i assume that the CATALYST driver for radeon is still not stabilized.Anyway, i still use Ati for certain of time...until i buy the new GC (of coz Nvidia..he..he).... cermin 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2004 yup mmg driver ati tu tak stabil n diakui dari dulu...tapi sejak aku gune card ni tak penah lak main game sampai crash to desktop..selalunye yg dikatakan tak stabil tu in term game tu lagg, quality picture nonsense dari sepatutnye..and benchmark score nonsense dari sepatutnye...so kena la cari driver yg sesuai...aku masa mula gune ni pun sampai naik darah gak nak cari driver yg sesuai..hkohkohkohk ye la mase install terus masuk driver catalyst ntah ape...pastu bile dah godek for sure mesti puas hati...dan tersenyum sendirian hkohkohokhkohkohokhkohkohkohkoya kite sume dah tengok kekalahan besar ati dlm doom3 kan...so dah tengok bench HL2? hkokohhkokohhkohko6800 menang tk sampai 10 point pun ngn 9800xt...so camne lak ngn x800??heheheheh....
