Low Level Format akan erase semua data dalam hdd tue dan set kembali disk controllers seperti cylinder/head/sector. LLF akan membina kembali track caching disk dgn nisbah interleave tertentu

Ouu...tapi untuk kes aku ni takleh la wat camtu kan? koz aku nak slamatkan data aku dulu...kalo untuk hdd yg da corrupt betul2 baru leh try wat camtu la yer??

kalau dah berbunyi harddisk maknanya harddisk sudah sampai masa. Jadi kalau nak selamatkan harddisk tu jugak peratusan cuma 0.1% sahaja.

blum wat chckdisk kat pc lain..nak wat kat pc yg aku guna ni plak..pakai sata plak..tapi camner nak chckdisk? kat bios jer hdd ni detect..Hdd ni aku da guna lebih kurang 200gb..partition tak wat..pasal aku da pakai banyak Hdd..takut effect lak...lagi pon hdd yg problem ni just simpan data jer..just wat folder2 jer untuk item lain2..

aku tak brani convert..aku da try kat HDD 10gb aku..tak pasal2 tak dapat detect langsung..sebenarnya aku pon tak faham beza Dynamic ngan Basic ni..hurmm..

aku da kembali scan harddisk tu setelah stuck tadi..aku amik nombor tang mana yg tersangkut tadi pastu wat semula tapi masukkan nombor start yg tersangkut tadi..skng dia da running balik..Semenjak scan dari semalam. tak plak jumpa aper2 bad sector..pas da abis scan nanti ni aper perlu aku wat?

Herin Boot disk memang best.....banyak masalah dia boleh tolong settlekan....tu ari aku repair HDD kwn aku yg ada bad sektor kat HDD dia....lepas aku check guna herin Boot masalah dah selesai...

Salam... Nak mencelah ckit. Low Level Format tu camne? Leh x terangkan n ajarkan camne nak wat low level format 2? sy pun ade mslh HDD damaged ni. Asalnye penuh virus. nk wt ape pun x leh dlm hdd tu. install av, killbox, combofix, gvr pun x leh. bile nak re-install windows, windows could not recognize HDD ni. (Dynamic Volume). Jd sy wat slave kat pc lain. nak clearkan virus 2. dalam disk management ade kuar tp unlocated. skang sy dlm proses mencuba hdd regenerator 2. Dari tadi sampai skrg jumpe 17 bad sector 2. Bole fix kan? ape2 hal thanks powerroot... baru tau fungsi hdd regenerator.

Low Level Format > Format nie akan menghapuskan semua fail, partition yang ada dalam HD. Jadi hati-hati.

LLF akan menghasilkan HD 'baru'.

Lepas tu kena buat partition baru.

Kalau HD Maxtor download LLF utility di Maxtor WebSite.

Sebaik2nya, lepas buat LLF terus check HD dengan HD Regenerator untuk pastikan HD tiada bad sector.

da wat da PRTAli..tapi still tak detect gak..hdd problem tu tak wujud bila nak backup tu..tapi kalo aku guna "Add New Disk" hdd problem tu ada..tapi dia kena Delete All Data ngan Partition kalo nak add..

hmm.. tak tau nak wat per lagi..ada cara lain lagi tak?

HOWTO: Convert a dynamic disk back to a basic disk

**This ONLY works if you have NOT used ANY of the new features of dynamic disks such as extending a partition or software RAID.

1) Install dskprobe.exe on the system. (This is one of the utilities in the Windows 2000 support tools on the install CD, and can be installed by simply copying the .exe file to the hard drive.)

2) Run dskprobe.exe on the system.

3) Select the Drives menu and "Physical Drive. . ."

4) Double click on the drive that you want to convert back to a basic disk. Click the "Set Active" button next to that drive.

5) From the Sectors menu, select "Read"

6) Accept the defaults (begin sector 0, read 1 sector) and click "Read"

7) In the editor, go to the "01C0" line and the third bit should be a "42". Change that to a "07". **Note, a few machines have had this on the "01D0" line instead. I don't know what that means, so I wouldn't try it unless it is on a pure test box. *****

8) From the Sectors menu, select "Write". Confirm all dialog boxes. **Note: This is the step that will hose your box if you have not followed the above instructions correctly.**

9) Exit dskprobe.exe. Reboot

10) Run chkdsk on the affected logical drive(s). If any errors are found, do a chkdsk /f to fix them. Done.
