After months of hard work, the PC-BSD team is pleased to make

the 1.4 BETA release. This version includes many exciting new features

and software, such as:

* 3D desktop support via Beryl

* KDE 3.5.7

* FreeBSD 6.2

* Xorg 7.2

* New GUI tools & utilities

* Optional Components, and much more!

askm,actually apa benda ni,saya ada download tapi belum install sebab tak tau apa benda ni,theme ker?

pc-bsd = Operating System

pc-bsd adalah distro dari BSD style.. mcm netbsd,openbsd and etc. yang bestnye pc-bsd ni kalau nk install pe2 semua dah ada, guna .pbi. macam debian dia guna .deb , red hat guna .rpm and etc.

utk yg nak kenal2 distro *BSD bleh la try.. mmg sesuai

else bleh gak guna FreeBSD sbb pc-bsd pon anak kepada freebsd hehe..

p/s : upgrade xorg 6.9 ke 7.2 mmg tricky sket..pnat tggu compile huhu...

tiba2 sampai 1 part "start install with gui (1024x768)"

gelap je monitor

knp erk?

ertinya driver base tak ngam ( lepas install boleh set balik ).. so jgn terus pilih "start install.." tapi "reset..VESA" ( ada kat bawah option "start install" tu) then baru pilih start install tuh balik...

Takpe.. maybe pasal dia tataw.. so nih sebenarnya OS, BSD-based ( FreeBSD ) tapi installation GUI dan byk mende2 automated la.. kira senang/simple ..

sy dah tgk pc-bsd run dalam pc.

mmg power la...x ada masalah.

then..kita leh install third party software..yang support pc-bsd.

cuma untuk lagi cantik..pakai kad grafik..
