The best mobo by intel ever produced by far.... supported the coming core 2 quad & its OCable!!! :o:blink:

After setting everything up in the BIOS like pictured above a few final adjustments were made (1333MHz FSB Strap, with an increased multiplier of 11) the system was restarted and when it posted our Intel Core 2 Quad QX6700 processor was no longer a 2.66GHz quad-core processor it was now a monster running at 3.66GHz!

Tiga PCI-e 16 slot, OC'able. Tapi I wonder lah pasal memory timing dan tuning camner. Tuning memory untuk mobo nih detail tak?

FSB untuk Quad-Core adalah FSB1066. Kalau dah strap sampai FSB 1333 dan multiplier x11 memang tak sah lagi boleh pegi sampai 3.66Ghz.

Kalu kira-kira balik untuk ratio RAM : CPU, mari tengok sini (kita assume yang dia pakai DDR2 800) :-

Pengiraaan core speed untuk Intel Q2D:

FSB1066 / 4 = 266Mhz <---- benda nih yang kita duk adjust time nak OC

Pengiraan core speed untuk DDR2 800:

DDR2 800 / 3 = 266Mhz

Meh tengok dia punya ratio :-

Ratio speed core RAM : CPU

266 : 266 = 1 : 1

Perghhh.... ratio 1:1 tu !! Laju tuuu !!

Kalau DDR2 dia pakai spec lain macam DDR2 667 atau DDR2 533, cipset akan map kepada ratio yang bersesuaian supaya FSB tak turun. Wokeh?

PS :-

***Camner erk aku dapat bahagi-bahagi nih? Well jangan tanya pasal susah nak terang bab-bab digit matrik bagi DDR2 nih.. pening nak terang. Cukuplah sekadar korang paham yang proc yang FSB1066 tu run denagn RAM DDR2 800 dengan ratio 1 : 1.

Kesimpulan dari citer nih, nak power pakai proc C2D atau Q2D FSB1066 bersama-sama DDR2 800. WOKEHH!!

Teringin nak beli mobo ni. Berapa harga dai ha korang agak? :D . Mau ribu-ribu apa utk Mobo je. Tu tak campur CPU lagi. La ni kalau tgk kt pricelist LY Cycom C2D Extreme dual core dah RM 3000 lebih. Kalau Quad-core berapa harga dia ya? Mau 10000 apa :P . Oh duit... :o

266 tu bukannya FSB tapi dikenali sebagai CORE SPEED. Benda / Nilai tu yang didarabkan dengan multipliyer untuk dapat speed sesuatu proc.

Yang darab 4 tu, bukannya multipliyer asas tetapi dikenali sebagai controller matrix. Susahlah nak terang :( Sebab 1066FSB tu adalah kelajuan sampukkan CPU dengan RAM.

Memang bagus akalu lagi tinggi. Tapi kan C2D sekarang nih bukan lagi dinilai berdasarkan clockspeed? ;) Sebab hasil dari implementasi technologi mobile dan teknologi Wide Data Exucation, sebab tu C2D nih "kuat". Sebut mengenai "kuat" nih kenalah ada cipset yang "mampu" menguruskan "kuasanya" dengan sempurna. Barulah "dia" betul-betul "kuat" beraksi.

CPU, merupakan otak yang dumb dalam PC. Sebab aku aku panggil dia otak yang dumb? Sebab dia hanya tau kira sahaja bukanya tau camner nak hantar data, nak send data dan camner korek data dari RAM etc etc etc.. dia hanya tau kira sahaja.

CIPSET, fungsinya "nak beri tunjuk arah" kat CPU. Dan sebagai antaramuka diantara CPU dan RAM. Cipset nih lah yang fungsinya nak kawal bus data, bus alamat dan bus kawalan untuk CPU dan RAM. Makin power CIPSET makin besh / laju / prestasi tinggi sesuatu sistem dalam pengendalian data diantara RAM dan CPU.

P/S:: Jangan tulis camni kat dalam paper / exam korang

eh abis kalo old chipset cam 945 tu kalo pakai ngan C2D dia tunjuk arah x betul la kan?..........kira x maximum? :(

"tunjuk arah" bukannya maksud dia kerja tunjuk arah lah. Cipset nih tugasnya untuk mengawal sampukkan diantara RAM dan CPU. Kalau cipset zaman batu nyer memng tak besh disebabkan dia punya performance akan mempengaruhi overall performance diantara CPU dan RAM.

Ahmades...terima kasih sebab saya dah dapat pelbagai ilmu mengenai sistem pengkomputeran daripada awak. Sebelum ni saya tak tau apa-apa pasal bus,kelajuan cpu. Rupanya chipset memainkan peranan yang penting kepada CPU. Saya juga baru tahu yang processor hanya tahu "mengira" bukan "mengarah", sebaliknya sekeping chipset (975,965,945) yang memberi "arah" kepada Processor untuk menjalankan tugasnya. TQ Ahmades... :D

Nak up nalik.. kena timing balik RAM tu pon depend kepada cipset dan RAM camner dia nak handle keadaan RAM selepas timing. Kebanyakkan cipset menawarkan function yang berbeza bergantung kepada pengeluar yang menginginkan bagaimana cipset berkenaan mengawal sampukkan CPU dan RAM

kenyataan ko ni merujuk kat AMD ngan VIA gak ke? maksud aku kan AMD ada HTT pastu ade northbridge kat processor dia...........pasal setahu aku AMD mmg x keluarkan chipset snirik cam Intel

Yeah... semua jenis CPU samada Intel, AMD, Motorola PowerPC dan etc etc etc. Walaupun AMD pakai integrated memory controlled tapi ia adalah dua benda yang berbeza iaitu still CPU dan CIPSET (Memory Controller tu).

betul ke tahun 2015 nanti proc Intel akan embeded RAM kat dalam proc tu?.......mustahil ke?...........
