Virus Effect Remover is a tool which helps you to remove the effect of viruses from the Windows Registry and File System.

It also detects the registry error caused by viruses and enables the Blocked content like Task manager, registry editor, folder option, etc.

This software enables your Admin restricted application and remove the changes which a virus does to protect itself.

It enables :

1: Registry Tools (e.g : regedit)
2: Task manager
3: Group Policy Editor (e.g. gpedit.msc)
4: Run command option in start Menu
5: Folder Option in Explorer & Control panel
6: Update check
7: File Menu
8: Find Menu

General virus types

While there are thousands of variations of viruses, most fall into one of the following six general categories, each of which works its magic slightly differently:

Boot Sector Virus: replaces or implants itself in the boot sector---an area of the hard drive (or any other disk) accessed when you first turn on your computer. This kind of virus can prevent you from being able to boot your hard disk.

File Virus: infects applications. These executables then spread the virus by infecting associated documents and other applications whenever they're opened or run.

Macro Virus: Written using a simplified macro programming language, these viruses affect Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel, and account for about 75 percent of viruses found in the wild. A document infected with a macro virus generally modifies a pre-existing, commonly used command (such as Save) to trigger its payload upon execution of that command.

Multipartite Virus: infects both files and the boot sector--a double whammy that can re-infect your system dozens of times before it's caught.

Polymorphic Virus: changes code whenever it passes to another machine; in theory these viruses should be more difficult for antivirus scanners to detect, but in practice they're usually not that well written.

Stealth Virus: hides its presence by making an infected file not appear infected, but doesn't usually stand up to antivirus software.

Trojan horse : doesn't replicate itself, but it is a malicious program disguised as something benign such as a screen saver. When loaded onto your machine, a Trojan horse can capture information from your system -- such as user names and passwords--or could allow a malicious hacker to remotely control your computer.

How It Works

A virus is just a computer program. Like any other program, it contains instructions that tell your computer what to do. But unlike an application, a virus usually tells your computer to do something you don't want it to do, and it can usually spread itself to other files on your computer -- and other people's computers.

What a virus does?

Actually a virus have three basic operation to perform :

1: infection
2: protection
3: distribution

1: infection:

it infect you system by three method :

1: by removal media
2: by infected software
3: by internet

By removal media :

So b care full while using removal media (i.e. pen drive etc.)

Because infection is the greatest way to execute virus.

To avoid This :

Don’t double click on that drive & don’t open it by right click .

Because Every Virus contain Autorun.inf File with it. Windows provided a Drive facility of autorun directly at startup or double clicking over it like cd/dvd Roms Drive.

Through Attachment in Email or other media :

Viruses are most easily spread by attachments in e-mail messages or instant messaging messages. That is why it is essential that you never open e-mail attachments unless you know who it's from and you are expecting it.

Viruses can be disguised as attachments of funny images, greeting cards, or audio and video files.

2: protection:

Windows has two type of hidden property:-

1: simple hidden
2: system hidden

in case of simple hided file you show these files by : Folder option -> view -> show hidden file and folder .

in this case the system hided file are not shown .

2: to show the system hided file just look the second option from the tab show hidden file and folder.

it is "don't show the system file and folder " Uncheck the tab .

Now you can see the system file and folder.

the virus is system hided file .

that's why you can not see the virus file .

so enable that system hided file view always.

to protect it self virus disables those option who can show it.

It disables :

1: Registry Tools (e.g. : regedit)
2: Task manager
3: Group Policy Editor (e.g. gpedit.msc)
4: Run command option in start Menu
5: Folder Option in Explorer & Control panel
6: Update check
7: File Menu
8: Find Menu
9: Log Off
10: Task Bar

It blocks :

1: Folder Option Show Hidden Tab
2: Folder Option Show system Hidden Tab

if your system is infected and you r facing this problem then use a good updated anti virus and remove the virus. After doing this, download the virus effect remover and run it.

@skcus
Trial and Error:
1. Create a new user account.
2. Run Full Scan. Please don't use Avira Free, AVG Free etc, it all a piece of crap.

Kalau masih tak boleh, cuba:
1. Restore system to earlier state.

Kalau masih lagi tak boleh, cuba:
1. Insert WinXP disc.
2. Repair Windows.

buat info, saya dah try da combo fix tu sebelum masuk sini. mcm2 dah saya try. sama gak.

takda cara lain ke? format leceh, lagi pun ni pc office. bayak sangat data, drawing etc.

install programe leh. n leh guna jg. tp av je tak leh gune.

sality off later saya gune ni.

kalau mcm tu, cuba listkan software yg dh try, supaya lebih mudah trace, atau cadangkan utk guna tools yg patut.
selain tu skarang AV apa yg dh try install & takleh run.

kalau dapat tau AV apa, lbh mudah.
ada Av tertentu ada kelemahan dia mudah di"hijack"
kalau AV tu dh kena hijack, mmg kena terminate, ganti AV lain, kalau mmg minat sgt AV tu, disabled sementara, install yg lain sementara n settle masalah. Tp skarang takleh gak nak suruh install AV lain, sbb takde maklumat lengkap lagi. Takut nak suggest, mana tau dh try apa yg bakal di suggest.

macam pedih jex ayat last tu............hi...hi...hi

tak boleh buka antivirus, task manager, regedit, safe mode
cuba pakai avast

task manager:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1=Enablethis key, that is DISABLE TaskManager
Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager

regedit:

tart -> Run -> gpedit.msc -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Prevent access to registry editing tools -> Right Click Properties -> Disabled
