Network Sharing Slow

Ok ni aku ada problem untuk network.. aku ada 12 pc run on win xp dan 1 file server run on win 2003 server.. semua pc ni access ke file server utk amik file dan wat keje.. tp kadang2 ada setengah pc yg 'hang' bila nak access ke file server.. then kena restart balik baru ok.. aku rasa ni masalah 'bottle neck'.. so ada cadangan tak nak kasi smooth network.. semua connection ni guna wireless..

upgrade network ke 1Gbps nye interface.........

ow, pakai wireless ek, silap la cadangan atas tu.

wireless pakai spec A ke spec B ke spec G?

A = 11Mbps

B = 22Mbps

G = 50Mbps

Cuba disablekan firewall kalau ada.. mungkin networking akan laju sikit kot .. try dulu la .. aku agak saja la

kasi sini guna campur2 ada guna 802.11a dan 802.11g.. takde nak kena setting apa2 ke kat win 2003 tu?? kadang2 aku pun pening dgn nt sini.. kejap ok laju.. kejap takleh masuk server.. ke ni mmg common problem dlm nt..

Pastu, check kat Shared Folder...

Mcm Win2k server, maximum 10 org jer...

kalau direct la...

Pembetulan.

Win2K server maximum unlimited. Default installation is 10 but can be increase from your Client Access License. Even some Win2K Server can come with only 5 CAL only. Win2K professional, Yes only 10 Concurrent Connection.

aik, speed yg aku kasi tu salah ke? huh, tapi rasanye betul, ke spec tu dah upgrade? wink.gif

tatau le. aku pun baru kenal teknologi wireless dalam seminggu dua ni je. masa aku tau, mmg dh macam ni laugh.gif link kat atas tu pun, sarge kasik.

ada org bgtau aku .. 802.11a tak dibenarkan dlm mesia. btw .. stkt yg aku tau 802.11g leh coop ngan 802.11b. 802.11b boleh gakz coop ngan 802.11g tapi speed dia 11mbps .. tak sampai tahap 802.11g. alah macam sdram133 yg letak kat slot 100 mcm gitu la.

Pada pandangan aku bottleneck dekat access point tuh. Misalnya access point connect ke file server dapat 100MB (wired). Dan access point tuh pulak disharekan dengan 12 PCs... tuh yang jadik slow tuh kot. Cuba ngko dapatkan lagi satu access point dan setengah computer connect dengan access point pertama.. dan setengah lagik connect dengan access point kedua. Jadi network traffic tuh distrbuteded sket. Anyway nih padangan aku jerk.

dari server ko ke access point pakai apa ??

maksud aku...

server -> ? -> access point

dan sila nyatakan speed utk port kat tgh² tuh..

sila jawab pertanyaan aku.. nanti aku elaborate more.
