fl1pfl0p 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 "host name lookup" macam guna $ nslookup aje...$ ping normally will result "unknown host" / "destination host unreachable"cuba ping ip router, klu still x dapat, guna mana2 live-cd untuk ping ip router.sori la salah information la itu result utk command ifconfig, result ping mmg "Destination host unreachable".pastu aku jugak try telnet router tu, kuar error "No route to host".juga dah try live cd lain knoppix 5.1.0 dan ubuntu edgy dua2 dapat ping router,dua2 pun automatically detect internet masuk je dah boleh terus surf.Backtrack ni je problem mungkin sbb dier utk kegunaan l337 je kot. kalau dhcpcd tak jalan... cuba guna dhclient lak...sebab kalau dalam debian, memula dia try dhcpcd... kalau tak dapat IP, dia try lak guna dhclient... biasanya lepas tu dapat la..ok lepas buat command ifconfig utk set ip ,netmask, gateway aku terus wat dhclient .Output dier -->Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client v3.03Copyright 2004-2005 Internet System Consortium. All rights reserved. For info, please visit http://www.isc.org/products/DHCPListening on Socket/eth0Sending on Socket/eth0DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 4DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 8DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 17DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 8DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 13DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 11No DHCPOFFERS received. No working leases inpersistent databases-sleepingNampakneye router aku mmg degil la tak nak respond. ape la problem nye:wacko: p/s:aku ade try backtrack live cd ni tadi kat Virtual PC 2007 ,boleh pulak masuk internet maybe sbb dier amik xp punye config

sharuzzaman 1 Report post Posted September 26, 2007 (edited) klu nk pure security... guna suse linux.. cun n more security....tak boleh assume macam ni... dalam mana-mana OS, termasuk juga Linux dan mana-mana distro... aku boleh katakan tak der security... sebab security adalah proses, bukan produk... kalau aku guna Debian, atau Fedora, atau Slackware, atau Gentoo, pun boleh secure gak, kalau aku tahu camner nak secure kan... tapi kalau aku guna Suse, pun boleh jadi tak secure gak... mungkin boleh kena cr.ack jugak... kalau aku tak tahu camner aku nak secure kan... so, belajar macam mana proses nak secure kan sesuatu OS tu... bukan hanya berharap distro tu untuk automatik jadi secure... OpenBSD yang orang kata secure pun still ada security hole... walaupun tak selalu... Edited September 26, 2007 by sharuzzaman
