Experience

*

Min 1 or more years of recent experience in Wintel OR Unix Platform

*

Min 1 or more years of recent experience in Data Protector

*

Min 1 or more years of experience in Veritas Netbackup / Legato or other backup software.

*

Familiar with backup hardware such as tape library, auto loader, LTO etc.

*

Any experience in backup software e.g. Veritas, NT Backup, Legato or Arcserve would be an advantage

*

Familiarity with tools such as Remote Desktop Connection, SSH, Socks, PCAnywhere

*

Administrator experience in Microsoft Operating System, Active Directory, Infrastructure Server (DNS, WINS, DHCP), File & Print would be an advantage

*

Experience in managing SAN and NAS storage and backups in an enterprise computing environment with products from multiple vendors (e.g. HP, EMC, IBM, etc.) and multiple platforms (e.g. Windows and Unix, etc.)

Certification

*

Veritas Netbackup, Legato Backup Certification is GOOD TO HAVE

*

Data Protector Certification is GOOD TO HAVE

Softskill

*

Proven skills in two (2) of the following areas: Recent experience in OVO Tools, Data Protector Backup, Send Mail, Unix Patching

*

Experienced in backup software

*

Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment
