tak pernah aku jumpa lagi la enjin v-tec sekali ngan turbo, maybe ada org buat tapi nak sync turbo n v-tec mmg la susah,boleh pecah enjin bila turbo force power sambil tekanan diberi kat v-tec nya sistem, tapi v-tec n nos sistem aku penah tgk kat area bandar sunway, mmg gila la dia punya power.. :rolleyes:

Bukan EK 9 system la..

Engine EK 3 tu memang boleh...HKS ada spare part untuk buat :P

Derang yang buat ni mesti pakai radiator besar, intercooler yang piping system gila2 punya..baru enjin tu leh support torque berat..api mampat tu tu kalau masuk turbo :rolleyes:

First, you need to understand what VTEC is and what it does. VTEC is a 2 stage variable valve timing system. There are 2 cam profiles, one for low rpm's to maximize torque in that area, and the other one "opens up" to maximize torque in the high rpm region. Unlike the higher end variable valve timing systems such as BMW's which allows infinate amounts of lift/duration, the VTEC system only allows for 2 cam profiles.

In a low pressure turbo system, the VTEC cam profiles are used to maintain the same torque curve shape as a N/A VTEC engine, only difference is the torque curve is higher. In a high pressure turbo system, the VTEC system is disabled because the high lift cam at high rpms do not work well with high boost. What happens is the valves are still open during compression stroke, so the boosted mixture escapes before the valves close, therefore robbing you of power at high rpms. Since the low rpm cam profile doesn't exhibit this behavior, VTEC is disabled to use the low rpm profile across the entire powerband. Of course, the proper scenario would be a custom ground cam for low rpm and high rpm turbo operation, with the VTEC system intact, to maximize power across the entire power band.

As for tuning, there would be just 1 curve to tune... regardless of what cam profile(s) you'll be running, the load would be identical for that profile, and you would change the fuel maps based on your cam settings.

Aku pun tak pernah nampak depan mata VTEC turbo..tapi memang ada la..

Dunia modification kan luas..banyak skill yang kita tak xplore lagi.. :ph34r:

assalamualaikum...

vtec stands for 'variable Valve Timing and Electronic Control' . stkt yg aku tau injection dia electronik kontrol dan valve nyer otomatik edjas seniri pada rpm yg berlainan.. jadi dia akn jimat minyak n kuat gila babat :D

V-Type..nampak macam V type..V shape..

Tapi function, Straight type engine....high REV type engine..

aiyaaa... apesal mounting keta aku tak leh masuk b16a haa??? uwaaaaa.... nak kena modify plak! kena tebuk lobang idung baru plak... uwaaaaa.. mampos tak lepas isnpection. cedih aku... ori engine aku sir4 eg8... halfcut b16a eg6... nampak mcm same tapi kecewa akhirnye lobang mounting kiri kanan tak ngam lari 3cm mountng tengah ngam! hehehe org nak pakai v-tec, aku pun nak pakai gak.. tapi lack of knowledge...hehehe

itu aku dah paham.. maknanya v-type ni enjin yang berbentuk v dan jugak mempunyai 6 silinder.. perdana v6 contohnya, berbalik pada teknologi v-tec ni ataupun boleh dikatakan teknologi injap (valve technology) kete malaysia dah ade ke? kalau macam perodua ada dvvt, even myvi sendiri pon pakai teknologi dvvt, bagaimana lak dengan proton.. adakah campro itu adalah sama konsepnya

pelbagai jenis enjin...antaranya Inline/sebaris , bentuk V , dan flat/mendatar... enjin V figure no 3 dlm ni...

ade enjin bentuk W...yg nih baru kot...aku blom pernah tgk animasi enjin W...klu sesape ade link cmne pergerakan enjin W/animasi enjin tu kasi r link kat sini... :)

enjin W ni skang pakai kat VW Golf yg latest punye...Golf W12...enjin kat belakang...sama cam beetle...kuat gila babat enjin nih...yela 12 piston...minyak pon sluurt....hehe

v-tec turbo mcm dyno v-tec ker? yg mat saleh2x tu buat.... dyno vtec tu mcm maner plak?

Vtec turbo jadi HI-REV system,..biasa start shifting pada 9000 rpm gearbox jenis berat, tapi bila nak convert pakai LOW-REV parts..HP drop pun tak banyak sangat..Rpm lebih kurang gak....

so bagi aku la personally better Low-Rev la kalau nak pakai vtec turbo. :lol:
