firefolk 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2006 (edited) Google CheckoutGoogle Checkout is up and running, Google' anticipated rival to Paypal.You can use Google Checkout after a quick registration, and any store with a shopping cart logo will accept Google Checkout payments. It's a free service. Couple of other things to note: * You are protected from fraud with Google Checkout; and you can even file a fraud report. * You'll be able to post reviews of your buying or selling experience, much like eBay's feedback system. * Google offers to mediate disputes if things go sour on a purchase. It will be interesting to see where this goes; the fact that it's possible to post reviews of your buying or selling experience confirms more than anything else the rumors that this is intended to be a direct rival with eBay.
