Google Checkout

Google Checkout

Google Checkout is up and running, Google' anticipated rival to Paypal.

You can use Google Checkout after a quick registration, and any store with a shopping cart logo will accept Google Checkout payments. It's a free service. Couple of other things to note:

* You are protected from fraud with Google Checkout; and you can even file a fraud report.

* You'll be able to post reviews of your buying or selling experience, much like eBay's feedback system.

* Google offers to mediate disputes if things go sour on a purchase.

It will be interesting to see where this goes; the fact that it's possible to post reviews of your buying or selling experience confirms more than anything else the rumors that this is intended to be a direct rival with eBay.

hehehe.. tau pon takut..

nie email dari google checkout team.. harap2 jangan jadik paypal (janji yang tak ditepati)

Hello,

At this time, only merchants with a United States address, bank account, and federal tax id (or social security number) can integrate and process transactions through Google Checkout. While Google Checkout may not currently be available in your country, we look forward to making the service more widely available in the near future.

Sincerely,

-Jason C.
