Responsibilities:

• Conducting all land/marine survey work such as GPS kinematics & monitoring survey, horizontal control network, detailing or topography, leveling and engineering survey.

• To monitor all the work progress for reclamation work via surveys.

• To prepare reports and charts of survey results.

• To ensure the progress of survey works such as pre-survey, monitor survey, interim survey and post survey are carried-out within the specified time

• To be responsible to upkeep and ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all survey equipments

• To assemble survey equipment onboard the dredger for the purpose of navigation before the commencement of dredging works

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.

• Required skill(s): MS Office, GPS Software.

• Preferred skill(s): land survey works.

Quantity Surveyor

(Kuala Lumpur - KL)

Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage the whole activities related to estimations, QS and contracts;

• To ensure the activities on tendering and contractual matters for all the projects that the Company is involved and implementing.

• To prepare a database for material, labors and machinery rates to be used in tendering or evaluation of sub contractors.

• To check/vet through the letter of Acceptance and Contract Documents prepared for the subcontractor that had been awarded the works.

• To carry out coordination works as well as preparation works in the contract administration such as progress payment, EOT, VO and other related matters.

• To recommend suitable subcontractors, suppliers and machinery rental companies to the Tender Committee.

• To prepare/coordinate project budgets, evaluation, analysis and cost control system for all projects.

• Supervising sub ordinates;

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

• Ensure that all deliveries, maintenances and equipment used at project site are appropriate, capable and function within their respective specification

• Responsible for project control and scheduling

• Improve capability in all aspects of Engineering to support the operation plans

• Administer project documentation and production of procedures & specification

• Administer draught activities within Department/organization

• Develop process to keep project operation technically advance the highest quality and cost competitive

• To ensure that works progress according to the plans, schedule and the client's requirement

• Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the Engineering personnel within the Technical Department in order to company objectives of quality, cost and time

• Responsible for the understanding and supporting of ISO 9001/2000 and performs within the guidelines and standards of ISO 9001/2000 quality and procedures

• Identify resources and technical aspects that can support project site operation

• Responsible for the competent staffing of the department and for continuous training of personnel so that they are able to effectively perform both technical and business needs of the company in areas of productivity, quality and cost effective

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
