huhu terasa diri ku ni noob gile pasal os ni...ni la 1st time aku dgr os solaris dan dilihat dr perbincangan korang buat kan aku teringin nak mencuba...tp masalahnye aku mmg lngsung xde basic dlm coding dan ini lah kelemahan yg paling teruk skali...so klu aku test pun belum tentu aku dpt buat ape2...wll even vmware dan gui biasa dgr tp x tau ke bendalah mksdnye...hehe...

sekiranya ade sesiapa yg bole bantu boleh terangkan mksd vmware dan gui dgn lebih lanjut??

vmware = software virtualization
ada jenis2 lain, macam virtualbox

gui = user interface
- apa yang user nampak bila pakai PC / system

anyway, Boleh try solaris dalam windows. Install solaris dalam virtualbox

1. Install VirtualBox
- install vbox

2. setup (open)Solaris
- download solaris ISO
- load into virtualbox (as CD/DVD image)
- create new VM (Yes to all / default)
- boot the VM
