Camne Nak Install Modem On Red Hat 9

akum. saya ada prob nak install Aztech 56K Internal modem Smart link kat red hat 9. mmg dlm cd ada kasi driver.siap ngan read me lagi. but d problem is even i dah follow all d instructions kat read me tu tp still tak berjaya. camne ye. satu lagi kalo enter command 'make' mesti ada error la. anyone out there who can help me overcome dis problem,u r welcome to give ur opinions.. i dah risau takut tak sempat siapkan my thesis project.

Camni la.....

Aztech punya driver dah outdated cuma support kernel 2.4....dia tak support kernel 2.6.

Jadi pastikan kernel yg diguna adalah kernel 2.4.x.

Dapatkan driver dari site Smartlink...updated.......support kernel 2.6.

Biasanya dia guna driver ltmodem.

Boleh try yg ini:

Lt tue lucent.. dalam linux dia tak tengok pengeluar modem tp tengok chip modem tue.. Modem ko pakai chip lucent...

taip dalam terminal command kat bawah nie utk tgk info pasal modem ko:

lspci -v
