Why? PADI has designed the Open Water Diver course to make it easy for anybody to learn to dive. If you are in good average health and comfortable in the water, you can be a diver. However, like any other activities, we need you to put some effort into learning it and of course, we need a bit of your time. How Much Does it Cost? RM890 for the Open Water Diver course, inclusive of an original PADI manual and dive table, a log book, full scuba equipment, professional instructor fee and the PADI certification. In addition, to complete your scuba training, you will need to spend at least two days on the island to do your Open Water dives. Our island trips usually cost between RM600 to RM800 per person, inclusive of accommodation, food, return boat trip to the island and the dives. So, expect to pay around RM1,500 to RM1,700 in total. We are very transparent in how we do our business so we give you all the information up front so that you know what to expect and how much to budget. What Gear do I Need to get Started Today? We will provide you all the equipment you need to complete the course. Notwithstanding, most of our students buy their own mask, fins and snorkel when they start the course because they can choose fins or mask that fit them better or make them look better underwater. These equipment are relatively cheap too.How Short is the Course? You’ll be diving in less time than you think. Normally, it takes two (2) days of classes + pool session here in Kuala Lumpur plus two (2) more days on the island. Or you can do the whole course with us on the island in 4 days. Can my Children Learn to Dive too?Yes! Children 10 years old can sign up for the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course. They will learn the same thing as adults and do the same things underwater. Of course, we will get them equipment that suit their small size and the class is kept very small (no more than two 10-11 year olds in a group of maximum 4 student divers). After Certification, Where Can I Dive & With Whom?We have diving trips both local and going abroad at least once a month so once you are certified, visit our website and see what trips we have planned. Join us on our trips, make new friends, see new places and do new things, underwater
