Nehalem To Become Core I7 Processor

Intel has decided to brand Nehalem with a new name “Core i7″. That means no matter Bloomfield, Lynnfield, or Havendale will officially get their name.

There will be 3 Bloomfield to enter PC market later this year, and the 999USD top-of-the-line Bloomfield is the only Core i7 Extreme Edition processor current revealed.

All i7 processors and i7 Extreme Edition processor will be officially announced in Aug 11st, launch date set to Q4 this year.

abang mon678, bukan 7 cores but 4 cores with 8 threads. gunakan semula Hyper Threading.

intel MESTI mengeluarkan 3 bende serentak soket+Chipset+processor.....

kalau setakat bios update pastu nak pakai 8 core nih x besh la....kena ada latest chipset sekali e.g sata 3 ke DDR3 ke......

rilek kawan2 jangan gopoh2....nih keluar mmg mahal...kasi 3 bulan dulu Intel akan cut down harga punya+release more features kat processor nih....

pastu pihak AMD plak akan segera menurunkan harga Quad core dia ketahap yg murah daan cipan........

sure, pasal sudah bertukar socket. surely with platform & chipset. its called Octo Core

well, thats not entirely correct, masa power-on we booted by using DOS, XP ,Unix, Ubuntu & Fedora. later part masa sudah stabil, baru Vista. however, betul.. kalau u mau maximize your cpu performance, then Vista is the answer. trust me, this new product will be awesome should it to be paired with Larrabee. Larrabee confirmed with 32 core & it uses x86 instruction.

hehe looking forward for my new build with this processor only if i got enough money lol.. Tapi bloomfield ni katanya nak launch bulan depan , kemungkinan bulan 10 baru banyak sikit supply dia . Nak tunggu lynnfield dia launch Q2/Q3 next year pulak , siap pakai soket lain .

well tahu AMD nak release proc apa? hehe....macam biasa la let intel release dulu 8 core dia tuh then nanti AMD nanti2 release la 5 core ke 6 core ke (sure lagi cheap dari 8 core right?) tapi performace sama....harga slightly murah.....

Intel's new Core i7-CPUs start in mid-October. They will launched between 13rd and 16nd October.

While the flagship named Core i7 900 Extreme Edition (3.2 GHz, $999), the others are named Core i7 900 (2.93 GHz, $562) and - speculation - Core i7 800 (2.66 GHz, $284).

hello yukimura, saya disini hanya mau bagi tech. sharing for the coming latest intel cpu. adakah saya post bench. comparison chart/graph between amd & intel? tak ada pun. kalau ada, feel free to comment.
