Malay Terms For "digital Signage"

Do any0ne know what the malay IT terms for "digital sign age"??

Plz don't answer "papan tanda digital", coz i already figure it out..

hello there. i'll try. i believe you are right. check [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_signage"]here[/url] and also [url="http://www.kamus.com/eng-indmay/signage"]this.[/url]

and i believe it is "papan tanda digital" just like you have mentioned. if the "sign" that you mean is displaying an advertisement, it should be called as "advertisement board" or "billboard". If it is displaying traffic route/road name or road rules such as "Jalan Petaling" and "Berhenti", those are normally called "sign boards" or the noun "signage" to conclude them all as one. so if it's "digital signage" for an example that displays "Perhatian, jalan ditutup 100 m di hadapan", then in Bahasa it is called "papan tanda digital".


if you put it as "digital age" then it should be translated in Bahasa Malaysia as "zaman digital". Edited February 4, 2011 by parangjiwa
