Kalau yg dulu2 mmg ada X skali ( depend pilih masa install ) tapi basic gila dan just ada twm saja..untuk Xconfig yg canggih sikit kene download pkgsrc, extract pastuh install guna pkgsrc ( serupa mcm ports dalam FreeBSD/OpenBSD )..Anyway welcome to NetBSD "Feel the pain, the u'll gain"tutorials NetBSD..http://www.netbsd.org/docs/x/http://www.netbsd.org/ports/i386/faq.htmlpenting as rujukan:http://www.netbsd.org/docs/guide/en/ <-- "handbook" NetBSD, mcm freeBSD Handbookhttp://wiki.netbsd.se/Main_Pagehttp://wiki.netbsd.se/TutorialsGuide2 ringkas yg aku buat for NetBSD:http://trunasuci.pbwiki.com/http://trunasuci.pbwiki.com/DHCP+Server+Setup+dengan+NetBSD+http://trunasuci.pbwiki.com/NetBSD+gateway...Wireless+Jaring

TRUNASUCI 15 Report post Posted February 4, 2010 topic lama, tapi reply untuk cara lebih senang solve.. for GUI/X/KDE etc, boleh pakai pkg_add ambik dr repo NetBSD, kalau compile dr src, mmg berzaman la tunggu pasal file beso2 dan compile dia lama.. http://www.netbsd.org/docs/pkgsrc/using.html
4.1.2. Installing binary packages In the directory from the last section, there is a subdirectory called All, which contains all the binary packages that are available for the platform, excluding those that may not be distributed via FTP or CDROM (depending on which medium you are using), and the ones that have vulnerabilities and therefore are considered insecure to install without thinking before. To install packages directly from an FTP or HTTP server, run the following commands in a Bourne-compatible shell (be sure to su to root first): # PATH="/usr/pkg/sbin:$PATH" # PKG_PATH="ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/OPSYS/ARCH/VERSIONS/All" # export PATH PKG_PATH Instead of URLs, you can also use local paths, for example if you are installing from a set of CDROMs, DVDs or an NFS-mounted repository. If you want to install packages from multiple sources, you can separate them by a semicolon in PKG_PATH. After these preparations, installing a package is very easy: # pkg_add openoffice2 # pkg_add kde-3.5.7 # pkg_add ap2-php5-*
so kalau versi 5.0, cuba setkan export PKG_PATH="ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/i386/5.0/All/" dan bolehla selepas tu install dengan command pkg_add kde senang kerana ni precompiled binary, mcm yum, apt-get tuh semua
