athlonium 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 bila L2 cache makin besar, latecy makin tinggi, please refer graph dalam power point diatas. sekiranye saiz cache terus meningkat, akan tibalah satu ketika latech cache = latecy ram. than cache hilang function.however, cache proportionally to core speed. sekiranye core speed increase, critical size for cache also increase.the best solution as used by many developer;L1 < 128KL2 < 2Mb (for > 4Ghz system) and < 1Mb (for < 4Ghz system)L3 < 4Mb (for > 4Ghz system) and < 2Mb (for < 4Ghz system)L4 and L5 nye data aku takde.kalau korang tak baca paper yg aku kasi kat atas or korang tak mampu nak paham, than takde guna aku cite kat sini.←tue Intel nya kes...AMD tak..tu la aku cakap Intel poyo2 je...2mb cache la apa la...800FSB/1GHZ FSB la Quad pump3d...Netburst Technology...semua term yang hampeh semua nya...AMD SOI (Silicon On Insulator) dah berjaya...AMD cun!! athlonium 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 try tengok white paper AMD plak...diorang design processor hati2 selalu...intel selalu ikut nafsu...nak mengaburi mata pengguna...tapi kalau ko masuk intel nanti buat processor elok2...buat persaingan giler2...kalau ko nak jadi pekerja yang baik...ko kena tengok white paper persaing jugak then baru leh paham ape kekurangan dan kelebihan...so i wish u goodluck...
