kalo kita install dua2 driver rosak tak?..hehehe..saja nk tau

BOLEH rosak

boleh jadi tak rosak. kene tengok pada ape yang sama ngan driver2 tu, samada ade ke idak program2 gune ape2 fungsi kat driver tu yang videokad tu support. kalo videokad tu support then tak rosak la. contoh cam driver default modem ngan driver spesifik modem ko.

Subject : Unknown Device (Advance: Vendor ID, Device ID)

saya masih baru dlm putera tapi tak tahu nak letak kat forum maner

cth: VEN_10B9&DEV_5459&SUBSYS_545910A5&REV_00\ ....

* kiter ambik Vendor ID : 10B9 Device ID: 5459 Revision: 00

1. search internet kat http://www.pcidatabase.com

2. isi 10B9 kat "Vendor Search" , klick Search

PCI Card, Graphic Card, integrated kadang2 BIOS Chip + chip atas board jugak

* fungsi macam FCC ID jugak +- ...

tapi tak benarkan bukak casing ; alasan nanti 'meletup' ker etc, kad takde label

Right Clik My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Modem -> Details atau Diagnostic

( ! ) berhati2 dengan hardware revision masa nak cari driver ...

contoh2 lain (bentuk short-form)

14E4-4401-81271028-01 ->Broadcom Corporation , 10/100 Integrated Ethernet Controller

8086-2562-01601028-01 ->Intel Corporation , 82845G/GL/GV/GE/PE Integrated Graphics Device

10DE-002C-00000000-15 ->NVIDIA Corporation , NV5 Vanta/Vanta LT

1106-0597-00000000-04 -> (?)

4005-4000-40004005-00 -> (?)

How to use Registry Editor to identify an unknown PCI device ( 98SE )

statement in reference:

{ When you click View devices by type on the Device Manager tab in the System Properties dialog box, the device may be displayed as Unknown Device under Other devices.

When your computer starts, the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) devices are polled for the following information:

Vendor ID

Device ID

Subsystem ID

Hardware Revision ID

This information is stored in the following Windows registry location:

KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Enum\PCI\VEN_<vendorID>&DEV_<deviceID>&SUBSYS_<subsystemID>&REV_<hardwarerevisionID>

} <-- betul ker ???
