I want to develop a tex to speech for my native language that is malay. basic idea of it is it accept raw text from user then do some analysis, then match the words to the phoneme of the letter since i'm most likely to us MBROLA as the speech synthesizer because there's lready a phonem database for my native language. the problem is i dont really sure the syntax on how to do the mapping of the letter to its phoneme code and send it to mbrola.
