TRUNASUCI 15 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Red Hat, Inc. has announced the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.5, the fifth update of its commercial, enterprise-class Linux distribution: "Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of the latest update to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, release 5.5. Highlights of the release include hardware enablement for the Intel Boxboro-EX platform, AMD Magny-Cours processor and IBM Power 7 processor. Virtualization is improved, with support for multiple 10 GigE SR-IOV cards, and automatic usage of hugepages for virtual guest memory when enabled on the system. Interoperability improvements include updates to OpenOffice.org for Microsoft Office 2007 filters, Samba for Windows 7 compatibility and boot support for virtual machines using Microsoft-based PXE services." Lepeh ni jawabnya kluar plak la Centos 5.5, kena la pulak teman mengdonload dan mengeburn. Centos 5.4 pun tak katam lagi.....kuang3..... Feature yang mengebestkan diri Redhat 5.5 = Samba for Windows 7 compatibility and boot support for virtual machines using Microsoft-based PXE services.
