Delphi di develop utk RAD (Rapid Aplication Development) application seperti Visual Basic, tetapi lebih efisyen . Ia actually mudahn utk dipelajari, tp mmg susah sikit daripd visual basic. Tp Visual C++ llaaagggiii susah nk blajar drpd Delphi . Kalau mengikut pengalaman aku, program yg di dev dlm delphi lebih susah nnk di [biskut tawar] dn sng utk di protect berbanding dengan bahasa lain. MiscMan 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 saya start guna delphi pada masa dia berumur 3 thn (he he.. 3 version).VB pun OK, cuma VB nih, selalu tak memenuhi apa yang saya ndak. Kalau setakat untuk database, windows programming, AI, internet environment dan security, VB ni bolehlah tahan.. tapi kalau untuk menda-menda lagi kompleks, seperti machines handler, sensoring, dan para penggodam kits (spt trojan dan virus) u akan ada problem dlm menggunakan VB. DevGuy 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 hmm i think miscman u missjudge vb laa. i think all programming language can do everything. the important thing is programmer who design and create the program.lat time i develop x10 where we can control house from internet or phone using asp.net and vb.net..so not problem at all. and then when i in university i develop for fakulti awam which i winner gold medal (actually my lecturer for detect and calculate using mechine) which i connect to mechine for calculating the thing.. i not remember that thing ..and i develop schlumberger smard card using vb connect to door pass or security pass.even we can develop ir remote sensor or door remote sensor using vb. fo me the important thing is alglrithm... and i think most programming language can develop something base on algorithm.now i develop bioinformatic which mostly in UK and US they use Perl programming.anyway i combine .net and perl language ( Activestate.com) to make this happen.now vb support OOP ( Abstaction, encapsulation,polymorpohism and so on) so programmer can develop like C++ nad C#..vb 6 not support OOP. but we can still develop ir, smard card,and so on..anyway i use delphi start version 3. pascal hmm version brapa tahh. .tu pun masa kat univ. nasib baik dah ada experinced buat prograaming guna qbasic. actually most programing language is same the different is syntax jer and features.tapi ok lah delphi ni.. cuma maybe sebab i learn qBasic start from version 4 until vb version 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 nad now version 8 dah nak kuar ( Whidbey).. maybe sebab tu terus guna .net.. lagipun easy ma..tapi now delphi support .net and we can develop .net application ( Delphi version 8). so that yang interesting....oklahh jgn amik hati i just tell you my opinion .. Anyway, aku tgh mencari laman help delphi, dan tetibe lak jumpe web nie..Best gak la sebab maybe lepas nie boleh kongsi opinion in Delphi..FYI, aku guna Delphi 7 (frequently) and Delphi 2005 (rarely).. For me, its RAD la..Dah name pun Rapid dak yee.. Part time aku buat VB, Phhyton, ASP dan few things yang saje je nak belajo.. Sebebenornye dah malas buat xtreme programming nie..
