Rage gametype adalah jenis FPS+RPG+Racing Games. Tapi boleh dikatakan Rage adalah "first and foremost a shooter game". RPG and Racing adalah feature tambahan game ini.

Dari pandangan aku, Rage adalah game yang hebat walaupun terasa pendek berdasarkan kepada perkara-perkara di bawah :-

1) graphic engine yang tercanggih (id 5 tech), sesiapa yang nak test "power" graphic card boleh cuba games ni. Graphic games ini sahaja dah justify utk dptkan game ini. Aku harap banyak games lepas ni pakai id tech 5, sama cam id tech 3 (quake 3 engine).
2) fluid shooter mechanic - smooth movement, balance weapon, good physics
3) interesting plot and characters

Walaupun begitu kadang-kadang terasa repetitive tapi taklah sampai tahap games id yang terdahulu seperti doom 3 or quake 4.

Bila main games ini mengimbas nostalgia indah main games-games id yang dulu.

I rate game ni 85%-90%.


Initially masa games ni release, ada issue on graphic performance, tapi fix dgn ati rage performance driver. Selepas itu, steam akan patch games ini semasa online installation.

tp game ni byk bug..terutama pd pengguna GC ATI....skrg aku ngah tnggu official patch untuk fix blurry graphic...pd game ni...

Steam has the patch already. I will install itself with main games during online installation.

If you're looking to do it manually, you need to find the standalone patch in the net which I can't find it. But you can try to installation ATI rage performance driver. It solved mine. I use Powercolor HD6870x2
