Masalah Downstream & Upstream

yup...as per reply aku sebelum2 ni...make sure modem ko tu detect betul...test 2-3 modem yg reliable...lain brand/model...kalau still dpt result sama maknanya salah configuration oleh tmnet...patut nya diset ikut pakej ko...1024/384...1526/512 ke 2054 nyer setting tu dah citer lain...tapi balik pulak pada apa yg ko ckp dulu psl ada technician dtg umah ko ckp line ko ada masalah...

hurm,maknanya upstream aku dah betullah eh 384? tp knp rata2 aku tanya yg pakai 1mb diorg dpt 512?bleh tak terangkan kat aku?

yg tech dtg tu mmg dia check n rintangan ada masalah,ada skali dia buat direct connection (tanpa kotak penapis) n baru aku dpt speed betul utk downstream pd modem (1024kbps)... rintangan dia check n aku tgk kat screen mesin dia tu lebih 50...dia kata kalo lebih 50 mmg x ok rintangannya..

probs nya scorp, splitter tu tak rosak coz tech tu dah try tukar splitter tu sama je... lgpun splitter aku tu baru beli sbb kena tipu dek operator yg suruh aku tukar splitter lain...

jawapan upload 512 ko tuh aku dah jawap... seperti di bawah...

biasanya mmg set ikut pakej yg dilanggan, tapi at certain places, di set so-called "upgraded" speed...yg ni bergantung pada kemampuan line di kawasan tu...

ko tak perlu risau pasal tu...yg penting ko focus pada pakej yg ko langgan dulu k?

dgn modem managment tu ,ko boleh tgk log modem,nombor ip streamyx ko,

dgnnya juga boleh guna utk auto connect ke isp,

boleh sekat user yg lain,

boleh buat pembahagian bandwitdh,

dan banyak lagi laa..

aku pon tak ingat..

aku dah wat aduan n org TM dah call aku n ni no dia guna utk call aku (0378840490) n dia kata tech sana dah reset port aku tp yg peliknya setting downstream dlm modem aku still 800++kbps lah :( diorg ni x paham ke aku nak diorg set jd 1024kbps... camno nih...pharez...

ahaha...tapi kan......tak penah dapat pun cd software modem ni. nak kene donlod kat website ke? cam yg tgh pakai ni, model cap aztech. tak tau lak ape jenis model die.

adeh...dah download dah software die. same macam model ni. tapi die bagi 3 menu 3. log in, log out, to connect to broadband router- click here. 3 tu jek... klik mane2, die mintak id ngan pass tu gak. :(

setting biasanya dia akan detect sama je...tak berubah2...kalau berubah tu sure ada masalah lain...sebelum ni ko kata bypas splitter dpt 1024 ke?camne tu?explain sket...username ape?

hurm,masa tu tech dtg sini dia cuba bypass tanpa splitter n lepas tu dia tgk bacaan pd modem config dpt full 1024kbps...

skang setting dia area 800++kbps je pharez... camno nih....

cabut splitter n connect terus ke telefon ke pc modem... mcm tu lah... n dia tgk dlm modem config dpt 1024kbps then kat mesin dia tu pun dpt 1024 tp bila pasang splitter balik dia turun...

anoc <-- sapa ni? ya betul coz dia ada call aku td... dia kata kalo sama dia suruh call balik n diorg akan hanta tech,perlu ke hanta tech kalo nk set downstream?

try dulu...pasang direct pastuh reboot modem tgk berapa dia detect...

time tu dia detect 1024... erm,aku dah wat skrg ni just dpt sama je mcm guna splitter... leh tak aku tau nak ckp apa utk suruh tech tu setkan 1024 pd modem setting coz diorg reset port pon dpt rendah dr 1024 :(

cuba check berapa snr margin ko boleh??

biasanya ada kaitan dgn snr margin laa ku dc,

SN Margin (AKA Signal to Noise Margin or Signal to Noise Ratio)
Relative strength of the DSL signal to Noise ratio. 6dB is the lowest dB manufactures specify for modem to be able to synch. In some instances interleaving* can help raise the noise margin to an acceptable level. The higher the number the better for this measurement.
> 6dB or below is bad and will experience no synch or intermittent synch problems
> 7dB-10dB is fair but does not leave much room for variances in conditions
> 11dB-20dB is good with no synch problems
> 20dB-28dB is excellent
> 29dB or above is outstanding

Line Attenuation
Measure of how much the signal has degraded between the DSLAM and the modem. Maximum signal loss recommendation is usually about 60dB. The lower the dB the better for this measurement.
> 20dB and below is outstanding
> 20dB-30dB is excellent
> 30dB-40dB is very good
> 40dB-50dB is good
> 50dB-60dB is poor and may experience connectivity issues
> 60dB or above is bad and will experience connectivity issues[/code]
